Dr Pragya Sharma graduated from the prestigious university in India, Pune University in 1993. After graduation she worked in numerous medical surgical specialists, gynaecology and obstetrics centres, followed by general practice for 5 years in India. She then moved to Mauritius and worked as senior medical and health officer in Ministry of Health and Quality of Life Mauritius for 10 years.

After this, Dr Pragya Sharma moved to Australia and has been working as a general practitioner in Australia since 2012. She has special interests in women’s and children’s health, cardiology, chronic diseases and diabetes. She is a supervisor for medical students through Melbourne University and supervisors overseas trained doctors. she loves listening to music ,singing and dancing, cooking.
