Dr Jie Chen is an experienced General Practitioner who graduated from the Medical School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003. Before moving into general practice, she spent many years working in intensive care units at tertiary hospitals in Shanghai, developing broad experience in the management of patients with complex healthcare needs. Dr Chen began practising medicine in Australia in 2019 and attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2025.

Dr Chen enjoys providing comprehensive care across all stages of life and has particular interests in chronic disease management, mental health, dermatology, women’s health and children’s health. She takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to general practice, considering each patient’s individual circumstances and longer-term healthcare needs. Preventative health, health assessments and continuity of care are important aspects of her approach as a Family GP.

Dr Chen values developing long-term relationships with her patients and working collaboratively with them to support their health and wellbeing. She is fluent in both Mandarin and English, enabling her to provide consultations in either language.
